ok quick update on my vas5054 rework, all components are soldered, (as per fantomel’s rework pics, thanks) working good so far will try it tomorrow to flush ecu and see how it goes, anyway just wanted to say that diod has to be reposition otherwise my tool didnt want to power up after I soldered the voltage regulator LT3010.

Is there any known place to sell a good quality vas clone??
Or should I just buy cheapest I can get and rework it? fail

People! Who has already changed everything that is possible, but gets an error of 200 ...., replace it and you will be happy!

The only possible problem is bluetooth, but it was reported that some chinese BT can do the same (firmware update downgrade)

memory a bit slower than the 10ns but stable.

All chips are original a5780 exists and oki is original. 2 chips/resistors between the 2 memories are missing (what happens if they are not soldered I am not sure)

where did you get it from??

if you had amb2300 installed and 10ns memory, plus missing memory resistors it would be classified as perfect clone.

At apoelitstas, “2 chip/resistors between the 2 memories” are actualy capacitors, also one voltage regulator needs to be soldered and chip A1040 has to be TJA1050, and if it after the test doest get “OK” it has to change A5780A chip as may not be original. RAM chips are not good as they are not 5v but rather 1.6v-3.5
