the hot start fix in only available to some 1.9 TDI engines prior to 2007 where the problem is fixed by vw by self learning adaptations.

To hot fix a 1.9 TDI (eg: BKC) you need to access engine controller and gain access by inputting a login/access code. For BKC is 12233

In the VCDS adaptation section you need to find IQ (injection quantity), usually channel 001. Increase it slowly by 50 units and observe the differences.

Older edc15 you can copy value from cold start map to hot start map

when you open map you can see that top value are blank, they need filling in
