hello. I bought used radar for adaptive cruise control (FRR) and I am having truble to make it work.
Seller says its 100% working but ISTA shows no response from FRR unit. Sellers electronic guy is saying that it has to be "coded" with esys to work but I cant figure it out.
Both ISTA and ESYS shows hwInstall action as needed and fail programming since they dont get a response from unit.
I am not extremely familiar with ESYS so maybe I need to do something else, not programming. But my logic says that when contorl unit is not responding then it cant be coded/programmed or anything and therefore its faulty (other aspects as cables etc checked and ok).
Can someone confirm me my opinion or help what to do with radar to make it work?

The Ista picture you posted shows that the FRR is the wrong part

NOT necessary. It can also mean that it can't talk to that part (missing or no comms) so just asks to install it! And picture from ESys TAL seems to confirm missing/no comms.

Hello everyone.

Car came back for continuing the repair and I installed another used FRR.

Works straight away. No following action necesarry - except calibration of the angles of course.
