Enable Video In Motion G12 iDrive 5 - step by step please?
Hi everyone

A few years ago I used the free Esys Launcher to code VIM on my F02 no problem, so I’ve used Esys before.

Wanted to know the cheapest/free option to code VIM in my G12 with iDrive 5 (version Y)?

From browsing this forum I have some idea about changing parameters in Esys and then doing the unlock sequence with the iDrive controller?

Step by step instructions on how to get the software and perform coding etc would be very much appreciated…

You will not get step by step instructions on this forum. We encourage you to look for the search function. If you know how to enable the menu, you're already there.

EntryNav2, MGU, Evo - carplay with or without ATM, full fsc, component protection and more.
NCD 2.0 secure coding - typeschlussel (typecode) change, region change

Thanks for the reply. My question is, do I just have to do the menu trick to activate VIM (all speeds) or do I also have to code it with Esys before attempting menu unlock?

You have to code it first.
