bmw e61 525d smokes after removing the dpf
Hello. bmw e61 2.5d 177hp. dpf has been removed. now after starting and driving on a cold engine it smokes a lot for a while. then it stops and everything is fine. Is there anything I can do about it? Do I need to buy a new DPF so that it doesn't smoke? Regards

Check if the fuel injector(s) are leaking while running cold? Has the DDE been remapped for increased power? Quite ofter it is either a leaking injector or not-so-well done engine remap.
