I did not replace the card with a new one.
It is possible that there is still something saved in HU, but after inserting the old card, there is no problem with the wrong date when saving the Repair kit
You can use HDDRawCopy1.10Portable to copy the SD card

i try to reproduce your step. replace sd card in donor unit (original from car, where this unit is now installed), was able to update maps. but navigation not started. all 3 fsc are accepted (1b, 46 and 88) but fsc cert on last one 88 are not available. not sure about this state if it should be like that. navigation won't start now and spinning wheel.
