What is jittermeter? Can you post link to that tool?

A Jittermeter is not a software tool it is a hardware test tool.

Find one of the tools for example costs in the past about 2500 Euro

BMW Z4 E85 MK4 problem

So the situation, there were 3 languages on the mk4, all three were German ( which i found very strange since there are normally 3 different languages ).

I tried updating it with V32 but then it gave an error on the screen

Now the screen stays black.

If i enter another update cd ( tried V25/V30/V31/V32 ) it starts the update but again the same screen comes on and then dark.

Anyone who can help with fixing it?

Try this first,before you buy new MK4 drive

you burned the software update on a CD-r,correct?!

Burn the software update on a DVD-R+ instead and try again

MK4 can read CD-R,DVD-R & DVD-R DL
