LFord  VCM II Won’t Connect to Vehicle PCM via Ford IDS
Just got a clone VCM II, and then I installed (VMware) IDS V105 and V107.
IDS detected the VCM II just fine, the lights light up correctly, but when I plugged it into my 2015 Ford
Focus it would not detect the PCM to establish any communication.

Thanks in advance.

Try using an older version of the IDS program. It’s possible that your serial number has been blocked on the late versions.

RE: VCM II Won’t Connect to Vehicle PCM via Ford IDS
your vcm2 is blacklisted, u need to use a vcm2 patch or older firmware. there is a way around it, but you have to know what to do to get it working
