According to support, the cheat code editor will essentially be a CAF Viewer. You'll pick a CAF and it will display everything. From there you select the function and parameter you want to add to cheat code. So caf viewer is better for me. |

You can use it to open any CAF file and see all FDL, whether you want to make Cheat Code file or not. 2018 F06 Alpina B6 650ix GC; Space Grey; Vermillion Red Nappa Leather; Executive; B&O; Driving Assistant 2017 F15 X5 xDrive50i MSport; Glacier Silver Metallic; Black Dakota Leather; Executive; B&O; Driving Assistant; RSE |

RE: BimmerUtility vs Esys Launchers
BU is excellent so far but running into some issues…
Cheat sheet for BDC_Body3 7083 file is not coming up. Having issues getting LCA to work on G82 as it was working on older firmware version. Seems that C_SWA_LAND_ACTIVE is missing from SAS? Any ideas? Had the below to get LCA working: BDC_Body3 > CAFD_7083 > SPURWECHSEL_ASSISTENT Default: nicht_activ Change to: activ HU_MGU > CAFD_3E52 > SPURWECHSELASSISTENT Default: nicht_activ Change to: gen_1 SAS2 > CAFD_42C1 > C_SWA_VORHANDEN Default: Nr000_nicht_vorhanden Change to: NR001_VORHANDEN SAS2 > CAFD_42C1 > C_SWA_Land_Aktiv Default? Change to: FF FF FF FF |

RE: BimmerUtility vs Esys Launchers
Hi Rob@BU
Bought a new laptop with 512gb SSD. Purchased BU, Now with ISTA and other softwares on it space isn't enough. So I am upgrading to 1tb SSD. Will clone the old SSD to new. Does this mean BU will stop working? Or will it need to be activated again. I noticed Bios update didn't effect the license of BU on the new laptop. Many thanks Sebastian |

You can always load ncd's in FDL-viewer when disconnected from car. |

Well, I think if VM was supported, they would sell one and only one copy for all to use... 2018 F06 Alpina B6 650ix GC; Space Grey; Vermillion Red Nappa Leather; Executive; B&O; Driving Assistant 2017 F15 X5 xDrive50i MSport; Glacier Silver Metallic; Black Dakota Leather; Executive; B&O; Driving Assistant; RSE |

Windows-to-go is running fine here.... and you dont need to use ssd storage from mac. If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button. Thank you.
