It´s the same problem for BDC_BODY3 and DKOMBI4.

Can you read the file with BU? I see the comparison is not working here. I have let Rob know. It is working with Esys Ultra so will be fixed soon I have no doubt.

Yes i can read the file, see the screenshot where you see the CAFD and DKOMBI4.
I can change parameters and code them back with E-Sys.
It‘s not a dealbreaker because it could manually find the values that have changed.

Bimmer Utility is all around the place in many thereads on CT. My suggestion to communicate thru one thread designated for BimmerUtility.

I purchased the tool few days ago and it's no brainer to recomend it.

Things that I like:
+ Easy of use and installation
+ Mapping updates/serious developer standing behind it
+ OTA updates
+ Speed and optimization
+ FA editior is awsone
+ DTC's from tool level
+ Compability with new Esys versions

What bothers me(minor stuff):
- multiple prompts about new caf's when reading coding from whole car
- random doubleclicks on outter edges of BU maximizes/minimizes window

- Only when connected remotly DTC/FSC are working on a hit or miss basis

- FA editor when browsing always opens on C: drive I would love to start always in C: Data/FA same for CAF's

Nice to have:
1. Back up of SVT,FA and CAF to folder(named after short VIN)

2. Based on above - advance filtering for CAF's

This will be new tool of choice for me when it comes to onsite jobs. Due to my use cases  for remote jobs BU is almost there (I hate waiting for ISTA just to clear errors). 

What is your experience with BU so far?

With new functionality in recent update I'm happy to drop coding verification tab in Esys Very nice and congrats to you and your team!

I would really love to have a setting for disabling new cafd pop-up when you read it from Esys or at least for it not to require my acknowledgement and beeing constantly in my face while fighting with coding

its also works with esysx, with pretty old pszdata mapping.


great app, great functionality, but i am missing one thing, maybe you planning to add fdl script window?
 as i am still using esyx for this case, its very simple, fast and easy when working every day with esys.
