Even after update last night (1.0.63, still having issues with Bimmer utility crashing when selecting the FA restore.
Laptop has been rebooted since the update and all un-necessary applications closed. AV also disabled as a test and the issues is still present. |

Hi all, did a search but couldn’t find any thread on recommended size for bootcamp partition on MacBook.
I have a spare ancient MacBook Pro (15” mid 2012 retina) sitting around and I’ve decided to use it as a starter kit to experiment with coding. I’ve bought BimmerUtility and waiting for the WiFi enet dongle to arrive. In the meantime, I’m wondering how much disk space partition to allocate to BootCamp for this project. Am thinking of also installing esys as well though am not sure which version to install. I just bought new battery and a 2T SSD for this project. Can a kind soul recommend how much disk space I would need for Bootcamp as I still want some space left for my personal stuff on Mac. Also, is Windows 10 or 11 Pro recommended? Any other useful software to install? Thanks very much for your time. |

If you have 2TB SSD and need some space for macOS, I would split 1,5/0,5 TB where 0,5 is for macOS but it depends on your needs As for Windows, bootcamp doesn't support Windows 11 natively, neither you ancient laptop The best Esys version is 2206 for now |

Read or backup of FSC is not working too.
