am in exatcly same boat stwert! we in this together bro!
i have combox telematics but the ididot didnt order 6FL the usb port in arm rest.

so i am going to code that in for ipod connection and 6NF witch is for the phone ingrasion, once this was done i was hoping to figure out bmw apps.

Issue is trying to figure out what fimwhere we are on, and then how this FCS coding works.
I think if our firmwhere is too old we are fucked, and need to flash the firmware and this can take ages over D/K Cable. So i might have to pay someone on ebay to do it!

but they all quoting over 200!

I dont think u coded the cic i dirive or the media moudals thats why u might not see the change or your firmwhere is old.

Adding Option 6FL

Step One – Adding $6FL:
Open INPA and verify that it is connected properly.  Close INPA when verified.
Open NCSEXPERT and load profile  Expertenmosus (Werkseinstellung).
Press VIN/ZCS/FA (F1)
Press ZCS/FA f. ECU (F3)  Choose the E89 chassis  Choose CAS or NFRM
Press Enter FA (F2)  Choose E89
Enter VIN:  OK
Add $6FL  OK
Press Back (F6)
Press Process ECU (F4)  Choose CAS
Press Change Job (F2)  Choose FA_WRITE  OK
Press Execute job (F3)
Press Change ECU (F1) –> Choose NFRM
Press Execute job (F3)
Close NCS Expert

Open INPA and verify that it is connected properly.  Close INPA when verified.

you need to do this but with $6NR.

am not going to try this until iv confirmed the firmware
