I understand what you are saying about FDL codings, there are hundreds of US imported cars already in China needs alot of modifications for over a year now, they worked so hard to find solution but they couldn't. However, my point is about VO coding, i am confirming you that a few people can code with E-sys now, they already have the solution and they are charging per (CODE). The JSON file i posted on my other post can be imported in E-sys, and i am pretty sure they are used somehow to initiate the process (at least for programming part) because thats the only place they were accepted at. What i am trying to achieve? thats a good question! I just wanted to warn everyone that if we didn't develop soon enough somehow, we are going to extinct! Moreover, do not convince me that most of the workshops use only brand new ECUs from BMW, so that ISTA can deal with it, i am pretty sure that almost all ECUs we install in cars are used, except couple of them. How are we going to use ISTA to code used ECUs? how are we going to get past ISTA exact part numbers? how we are going to skip slight differences in HW like we used to do? there are alot of questions in my head, thats why i spit it out here. Wish you speed recovery friend.
