Hi guys,

I'd like to know whether it is possible to retrofit a larger screen into a BMW X3 (G01 made in 2018) with HU_ENTRYNAV2 head unit. The car has business (basic) navigation with the small 6.5" screen.

According to posts on the internet, people were successful in coding a 8.8" screen (part no. 6820396), however this screen does not fit into the dash (despite being marked as compatible with the G01 on realoem.com). This screen is for the G30.

There's a larger 10.25" screen available for the X3 (part no. 8715335) that fits the dash, but always gets a "No Signal" message when coded with eSys. So this screen works only with the EVO head unit with navigation professional.

There's a thread here in which someone had success with HU_ENTRYNAV2 and the 10.25" screen on an X1 - supposedly the screen has a lower resolution (1280x480 vs 1440x540)?
