Well that way doesn't differ much to eg. standalone beemerboy releases with loader.
I think it would be wise to compare (by someone who got clue where to look at - definitely not me in terms of "modified" in anyway versions) fresh OSS installed version with used up to date eg. beemerboy release and find differences... That might be helpful ? |

The ICOM A1/A2 only need the ICOM firmware msi. file. The ICOM Next you need to have the ICOM Next firmware msi. and ICOM Next meta file to get it update.

It is not only needed for update purposes. It is also needed, that the ICOM Next will be properly detected be ISTA-P. Otherwise you´ll get the message that there are Icoms with invalid Firmware Versions in the network.
