With ODIS, reflash the Instrument cluster (Original). < If it does not work > Option 2
Option 2 With new Instrument Cluster made sure the correct firmware is installed for the TT model. Apply immobilizer if required and program all . TT instrument clusters should NEVER be touched unless with VCDS, ODIS Engineering or ODIS Service. Is not strange. Is vag strategy for resetting low level oil message. In his vision, oil level cannot be reestabled without opening bonnet. Malfunction of bonnet switch is not a option for vag engineers.
Not specific to this car. All vag with bonnet switch have this strategy. Cannot reset message if no make a short circuit to ground for active wire of bonnet switch. |

Bad hood switch or service interval coding.
wrong coding of the interval causes an error on the instrument panel with the oil level |

The bonnet switch is working as normal, I think, when I open the bonnet lights up on the cluster display, this sensor read's oil temperature also an temperature is 0

Tried all the coding possible but same result I had this problem before with Passat and VW t5, coding out with vcds the way you mentioned was good solution but not on this car unfortunately, cheers

I encountered that the hood sensor showed the opening in order, but the problem with the level was removed only after replacing the switch.
