I connect to this post
on the R60 of 2010 the Champ has been turned off after IstaP update failed
I updated the following controllers successfully with winkfp (CH63F1,
CH62F1, CHA0F1) but the monitor remains off, I forgot some module, the gateway for example?

Is your champ cooling fan spinning continuously?

Does you car beep when tbe key is inserted?

Does the radio work despite the CID monitor being blank?

Is your Champ factory supplied or retrofit?

black monitor, no sound from the radio and no buttons work, the cooling fan runs continuously, factory present, no retrofit

Your current condition sounds identical to mine, with the exception being mine is not factory fit.

Did each module update okay with comfort mode, and did you use a MOST protocall?



It seems the best way forward may be to try to update with ISTA+ again, it sounds as if it may be stuck in bootloader mode.

Note that if you used an ICOM NEXT A&B that there are documented issues with flashing MOST units, which is needed on CIC.

No, In Fxx you need e-sys and pszdate full for programming

I programmed with icom2 a + b (most protocoll) otherwise too much time needed, all the modules programmed in comfort mode, except the last one (CHA0F1) that I had to program in expert mode, otherwise it gave error


VIRTSG92 what form is it? should it be programmed? because it was not done

Any errors during programming? If everything went ok and you have the latest update at the champ2, then you'll need to recover on bench

i try again with ista-p and flash all ok except the activation, in ISTA-P only ask to make activation but CHAMP2 still dead, how you mean recover on bench?


ps: ista-p give error on coding BO unit
