I updated an F31 today and thought it would be an easy job. Just posting this as info because it didn't seem to have an effect on the car.

After programming when it's supposed to reupload the fsc to the Cic it failed.

But all fsc are listed as active. I just pressed end session after retrying to import fsc three times. Navi and voice control still works....

Use e-sys and it is much easier. Ista/p does all kind of additional stuff that is not required. This week I had problems when updating E60 with ista/p, in the end ista had tried to re-write cbs info (not necessary) and oil change went to 0. I solved it by correcting cbs info with rheingold, without problems.

Other thing is this fsc thing, ista/p sometimes tries to re-import codes that already exist. It has not yet done any damage while K have used it though, fsc import just fails. This is obvious because only newer codes can be imported over older ones.

This work in all cars. With Ibac.

Well as I said before as far as I know, models before 09/2008 will work only with IBAC code / with adding 216/KEPS , but LCI models after 09/2008 that need a FSC.

Hi guys. I also tried to add Servotronic via NCS Expert. I added $216 and +KEPS to VO list and programmed it to CAS/NFRM but servotronic is still not working. I have pre-LCI E90 so i think this should do. Any suggestions what to try next?

If you have software higher then v38 will not work and FSC required. What is the zusb number?

Hi, I would like to import 9C FSC into my E91 with ISTAp but with no luck.

thats what I have done:
1. Retrofit Combox+Snap in, change FA date from 0609 to 0311, code CIC/media, FA back to 0609 - all works perfect, exept i can use ISTAP with combox connected because it ask me to replace TEL/ULF and ULF-SBX.
2. ordered 9C FSC and recieved zip with 4 files inside (der, fsc,xml,fsc)
3. disconnect combox from Most remove all VO about combox and leave just 6NR, code CIC.
4. use guide* for import with ISTAP, so I can see FSC in import tab in ista.
5. Program/code CIC.

but looks like it not import FSC into car. I still see juts old codes like 17,19,1B and 28 but no 9C.


What am I doing wrong?
My integraftion level is E89X-15-11-500. Im using prety new ICOM ABC clone with last FW. Istap is on Windows 8 prety powerfull laptop.
FSC is from Patryk.
