Ok, I bicked the unit when trying to downgrade to v56.0. Recovered it and now i will try with 56.2. I have all kind of different versions but from v56, v56.2 is the latest.

Edit. I will actually try with v57 as this unit is hw 2.3 and has factory istep from v57.

edit2. Was the trusted VIN introduced in psdzdata v57?

Thats wrong. Its just not final and under development because will be released with g30 next year. final release will be id6 full. until now id6 full can not be coded because its missing in psdz data.

You mean id6_light is not the final? Yeah, I came in that conclusion as it obviously has some features missing. For now the ID5 is better.

Very low level solution shuold be enter in evo system trought ssh or telnet and manually delete SWT persistency. Problem is that from NBT ethernet access was removed. Someone shuold hack fimrware file and enable daemon ssh before flash. This in not in my skills... sad

sorry thats not true either. its not necessary to delete id4 fsc when upgrading to id5 or 6. i am doing this all day and had never problem upgrading with id4 fsc loaded. but i am interested to know why you think it should be done and can not be done withoutsmile

These units are the newer 4th generation head units. You cannot upgrade the regular NBT units to the new interface and as far as I know, never will.

Legitimate question on the ID5/ID6 - ID5 is the user interface that first came out for the Evo, there are utube videos of ID5 and the newer ID6 which is oriented more towards touch screen but still usable from idrive controller.

Were you able to load the new set of FSC codes after clearing with Tool32? Also Nav is working right?

I have the same issue and I believe it's because I still have ID4 codes on the NBT EVO. Whenever I set Navi_Variante = US or Telematic ECU to ATM, it will crash.

Is Nav and Connected Drive working?

How? I have an ECE NBT EVO and I'm trying to replace it with NA repair codes. The ID4 Nav Enabler A0 will not go away to make way for SWT long code. Every time I try to upgrade the FSC, nothing changes.

Yes id4 a0 FSC will remain active. For id5/6 you need 120fsc.
120 FSC needs to be put on USB stick and plug into evo. That's it

Yes this procedure is discribed in asap Portal too.
Only fsc but you can try with der too. I always put both
