Then you should be good to go. Screen mirroring also won't work on Nexus phones and possibly others since Google disabled the Miracast protocol and uses Chromecast exclusively on these devices, so you'll need to root your phone to get it to work. Just in case you do have a Nexus and it drives you crazy

Does it also work smoothly, in my case it was very unreliable and would never keep a connection for longer than 1 minute.

That's cool. It wouldn't work that smooth for me even with the phone that close. So I'm currently waiting to receive my WiFi antenna.

It's Android only. iPhones don't support Wi-Fi Direct so even a jailbroken one wouldn't be able to use miracast.

Screen mirroring works on my Nexus 5 and Galaxy Nexus, with stock rom, without root.

The youtube link posted on #131 is my Nexus 5.

Also tried and works on LG v10 and Samsung S7 edge.
