Don't enable ENT_MIRACAST_DISPLAY_SETTINGS it will show an annoying preview of the screen mirroring menu like the ID5 menu previews on the right side of the screen but only this time it's semi-transparent on top of everything else on a screen, and presists for about a second when you navigate away from the screen mirroring option.
I think you will only need to activate WLAN_WIFI_DIRECT. This is the only one I have active but I haven't tried it with it off.
Do you guys have a WLAN antenna connected? I don't have one yet and it seems the WLAN functions are being shared over the bluetooth antenna so screen mirroring is extremely slow and drops the connection within a couple of seconds and CarPlay doesn't connect at all after the pairing process. Do you think this will be solved once I get the WiFi antenna?

I'm not sure if it is different in firmware version or country, this is the test result on my car.

1) Screen Mirroring doesn't show on menu

2) Screen Mirroring show on menu but no respond when select it
ENT_MIRACAST off

4) Nothing
ENT_MIRACAST off
ENT_MIRACAST_DISPLAY_SETTINGS off

I've WLAN antenna connected. If no antenna connected, my headunit even cannot make WIFI connection with my phone (no respond on that 120 seconds count-down search menu)

I VO code a NBT EVO heaunit to fit my car, but it has no characters on the screen after VO coding. I remember that I read a post saying someone has same issue and seems resolved with some changing some parameters. Searched but can't find it. Does anyone know the parameters?

Found the post and seems put it in car will work. Will try it tomorrow.

I was successful in clearing the FSC codes in my ID4 unit by using v56.2 and using the Esys transmitter function to clear them, but I've tried updating to v59.4 using a G11 FA file I created and it flashes fine, but when coding it fails and it won't VO code at all. I can FDL code it, but I don't have any option for hmi_id_version in the FDL. In my FA file, I used zeitkriterium 11/16. I have also made sure to connect using S15A when creating the TAL, but then connecting as F010 before flashing. Could someone please provide a G11 FA file that works and maybe help me out with some instructions to get a good flash?

No news. Downgrade is not possible with new fw. But with gracenote exploit u can upload custom fsc set... so problem solved! smile

Yep. They already closed Gracenote exploit in 60.2. BMW AG loves forum technical talk. smile
