E60 cas processor dump needed

E60 cas processor dump needed
Of a 2005 E60 the module has been replaced with a new one. The old module gives the error "cas processor".
Can this module be recoverd or is it trash? MGU virgin and patching in Europa.

Do i have to desolder the chip? I'm in the learning process when it comes to eeprom.
