Launcher was needed only for FDL Coding, and BU is same.

this being an old post, is the statement of no launcher needed for encoding/programing of modules true for all versions of esys or maybe up to a specific version? I have not really got into esys but will be learning... i have downloaded ver 22.10... will this work for encoding / programming a used szl in a 2011 F10?

The statement is still true, you only need a launcher for FDL coding.
Try to use 3.40 instead of 22.10 for flashing, this will work on a F10 from 2011.
I flashed my G21 from 2022 with this version and had no problems.
Keep in mind that you need PSdZData Full to perform flashing operations.

I've flash F10 2012(Pre LCI) with Esys 3.40.1 and 4.39.20 PSzD full succefull. Don't forget by TAL-Processing to chek software availability.

I don’t think any developer of software would allow that. 2 activations for the price of one, not likely.
