ICOM problem
Hi!

Who can help? I tried read my car diagnostic etc, but when try to make connection to car, there is issue. Can't hit connect- button, its grey.

Itoolradar find my ICOM and its reserved. Also ISPI found it and it can see in software. But still can't connect to car.

So what could be problem?

If you wanna check settings, i can give tw details for remote.

ICOM have two leds, power and lan ON.

What is latest firmware version? Share please?

Setup is done by seller. EDIABAS not installed, no need with ICOM?

RE: ICOM problem
Go into webbrower... put in : icomip:58000 and change icom to DHCP and ISPI NEXT mode. That solved it for me.

Thanks, that help. Now can establish connection to car, but ISPI doesn't can identify car model. Tried also put VIN manually, but can't find car.

So asking again, need EDIABAS or not? E46 330d is car

Ediabas is needed for Ista/d

Ista/P DON'T need your Ediabas

For both Programs Icomstate must FREE

Go on BODY_STYLE_BMW_ONLY_Forum there is alot of them.... now it's popular by Location, choose your location, and start reading about next meeting ( in My area they are once a week) go there, meet people, make some body_body explain them your problem, they will give you their car as a test lab FREE_OF_CHARGE

If any of my posts or current one helps then don't forget to press thanks and add a reputation thankyou
