Cic activation method
Hey guys. I have one question. Cic has been retrofited to e60, but I dont know how it has been activated, script or emulator. Is there any method to check how it has been activated without disassebling it?

Software - log on CIC and look at the bottom of startl6sss.sh file. here check for suspicious files like activate_swt or something.
hardware - remove cic from dashboard and check if the quadlock can wires(2 wires) are cut and a small box is attached between cic's quadlock and car's main wires. |

Easiest way is to try to update map , if u success without any special procedure then u have hardware activation, if u failed then its script activation

To enter the map, in cic with activation via script, using FStool, to enable the entry code.

You can check how it has been activated with "CIC language utility" which is shared here in the forum. It will tell you whether emulator or script.
