Need some advice with battery drain on 2006 E60
Hello,
Customer came in with 11/05 BMW 530xi that experience battery drain overnight. He came in after visit to local BMW dealer with receipt showing that faulty KGM module is causing all this. Well, I did replace it and coded it properly with used one but problem still there. Next updated whole car with new ista-p except Most modules (couldnt find my most attachment to icom) and the issue is still there. Battery dead overnight. After playing around with fuses..tracked it down to NAV system. If I remove nav fuse car starts next day no problem. (but no nav,no radio,no idrive). Car has widescreen CCC unit. is there anything else I can check or just go ahead and replace CCC ? Thank you for advice |

Yes, but it is not draining the battery. It is supposed to sense if there is a excessive current drawn when the car is supposed to be in a sleep mode. As Vlado mentioned replacing it may fix the problem.

Battery tested with snap on tester as well as charging system. , it's good and it's new. 1 month old. Car goes to sleep mode after about 25min. When I sit inside I can hear nav fan still but goes on and off.
