All-you-might-need for BMW coding and programming in a VirtualBox virtual machine

Here is the easiest way to use all the BMW coding and programming software without dealing with different versions, updating files and configuring stuff. For it to work you need to have a working VirtualBox installation, K+Dcan cable and a modern day computer The package includes:

1. Inpa 5.0.6 (with English script files & Support for F-series)
   
2. EDIABAS 7.3.0
   
3. NCS Expert 4.0.1 (with English menus and buttons, and NCS Dummy Profile pre-installed)
   
4. NCS Dummy 0.6.0.4
   
5. Tool32 4.0.3
   
6. WinKFP 5.3.1
   
7. Integrated SP-DATEN v53.3
   
8. BMW Coding Tool v2.5.0 (for use as an alternative to NCS Dummy, or to update DATEN files as new ones become available)
   
9. USB Drivers for cable
   

The installation is based on **Mike's Easy BMW Tools Package** with some additional perks.

Here is how to make it work for you:

1. Download the INPA WinKFP NCSExpert - DISK.vdi (disk image)
   
2. In VirtualBox - create a new VM with the following parameters:
   Name: You name it , Type: Windows, Version: XP (32-bit)
   
3. Click Next and choose Memory size: 2048MB
   
4. Click Next choose "Use an existing virtual hard drive file" - here you point to the INPA WinKFP NCSExpert - DISK.vdi, that you've downloaded.
   
5. Click Create and press Play to launch the VM
   
6. Next step - plug the K+Dcan cable, start the virtual machine and transfer it to it - from the menu - Devices>USB choose your cable (usually something that has 600 in the name, but probably you'll know which one is it...)
   
7. In the virtual machine - make sure your cable is properly installed - My Computer=>Manage=>Device Manager=>Ports (COM & LPT) - USB Serial port needs to be on COM1 - if not follow the instructions in the ReadMe file on the Desktop.

Is the file format something universal like VDMK? If so, you'll be able to.

Got a little problem, I don't get two black dots in INPA.
I install drivers, set USB port to COM1.
NCS is working properly(I can write new FA, code and process car, it gets proper VIN from car etc), but INPA doesn't work at all.
Do I have to change something in edibas.ini?

I have BMW GT1 viaken FT231X USB interface.
On my old version of INPA works ok
