1. used e-sys 3.27.1 and no 3.26
2. used Enet adptor and no icom
3. remove CD/DVD from nbt and usb key by port
4. retry update software
I think you can upgrade without problem

I think most people are missing the point here.

The OP can't connect to it probably because it resets before he can. Therefore suggestions of what software/hardware to use aren't answering the issue he has.

Therefore he needs to be able to force it into say a bootloader mode where he can connect to it. He is asking if this can be done through the Jtag connector or a jumper on the board. The other way would be chip programmer direct on to the main chip.

Hi guys,

I was programming my whole car bmw f10 and lost all went smoothly except HU_NBT. I don't know why but it failed. I had router with dhcp connected so Kombi also flashed fine. Ista-p started with bootloader and there was a blue screen for some time so I'm almost sure that there was an error something like.... Not executable.

I tried use ESYS but got this error when trying to flash:
