Okay thanks. I just know that in the good old dis/sss days you had to encoding the DDE with a code that was the last 7 digits in the part number. But I haven't done that with Ista p only dis.
But I'm glad that it's made smarter with Ista p.

Yes thats how it was with DIS, but my doubts was on how to do it in ista. But my understanding is that I just need too reset adaptions.
I thought that maybe I had too do it in Ista p under the control unit three under DDE and then check boks with program manually. But I didn't want too mess up the DDE. And I'm glad I didn'tsweating

RE: How to encode new air mass sensor m47 engine
To flash DDE you need ISTA P

ZUSB number you can also find in ETK(programmed control unit).

You choose program DDE, and enter correct ZUSB number from ETK

WinKFP also should work and it is easiest way to do that if he don't have ISTA or DIS.

RE: How to encode new air mass sensor m47 engine
You need the basic and programmed part numbers of the original dde which you can read from ista/d using the identification screen. then use the bulletin someone has linked in this thread.
find your programmed part number and cross match to new part number.
use ista/p, click on the dude when its loaded up.
choose program manual input.
enter the original basic and new programmed number.
let it run.
your good to go.
