If you are asking about NAAB programming I have done with ICOM Next and MOST cable connected.

Now tried with an old ICOM - and everything works perfect. There must be something wrong with the ICOM Next icom's

For ICOM NEXT supposedly the better option is for
Interface = MOST_CTRL
port = 6802
But to change always use easyconnect
he also configures remote.ini

_ab625 version is OPPS software

it's better
for modules MOST
Interface = Remote: MOST_ASNYC
port 6802

What I meant is that MOST adapter for ICOM Next is different from the one for old ICOMs. And it causes slow programming if old ICOM B is used with ICOM Next A.

Just a quick offtopic question while we are here. I assume to use ICOM with winkfp one needs to change interface to remote then reserve ICOM. Is that all?

My question is on the remote modes. Where are these supposed to be used?

There is only icom b for most ATM and I highly doubt they will make any newer most adapters.

Most is dead after E series.

Ethernet is the current future for infotainment systems and updating, data packs are huge and Ethernet offers the speed needed.
