Change default M settings on F8x
One of my friend have visited me with an request to change default M settings of car. Right now everytime he turn the ignition on engine is set to efficient, suspension and steering to sport.
I tried to look into coding of ICM, FEM, VDC modules but I didn´t find anything that would change this default settings. Doesn´t anybody know if it is even possible via coding and if yes what values have to be set up? |

No it can't be change..BMW set it for Fuel Efficiency so it meet EPA restriction..
Other way is set your M1 M2 button in your steering wheel with the way u like then each time u turn on the engine Hit M1 or M2 button... Please hit Reputation button if u think my info is helpful.

Ok but it is weird that you can change via coding a lot of detailed settings of all modules but not default M configuration.

If you program your M1/M2 buttons, you should not have to set each time unless using different keys. Most BMW's, except those with BDC_Body (eg, I012, F015, G030), only get a choice of EcoPro or Comfort to start. |

Yep but something u can't change via Coding because it belong to the FLASH. Set BMW In sport mode at default starting is a dream of many owner but BMW doens't let us do that
