I bought a head unit with ID4 and clear the FSC and flashed it to ID6 firmware.
Import a set of proper FSC and seems A1 status is accepted. But did not see 12d in the FSC list. Plug a USB which has map and 12D FSC in the "FSC" folder to the USB port. A message "The map version in USB is newer than the head unit, would you like to upgrade it?". Select "Yes" and I supposed the files in the USB should copy to the head unit but it did not. It just returned to the man menu. Check the FSC status and see 12D shows up in the list. From this, I have A1 and 12D accepted. The USB we used it ok as we use it to upgrade other car's NBT EVO without any issue. advice please. Some things I noticed when switching to from ID5_plus_plus to ID6_light
Screen saver from main menu gone No shortcuts when hitting menu button For some reason when setting 3d Maps and Weather and 3D Buildings these settings need to be set every time the system turns on after the car goes in rest state. Other then switch the above setting is there anything else that needs to be changed ? |

Does anyone know what the latest iLevel you can flash an EVO to & still use a custom FSC Set on?
I have a HW2.3 B142 ID4 EVO I want to flash to ID5 & load a custom FSC Set, I have deleted the original ID4 fsc's already but I am reluctant to flash to 3.60.4 if the FSC set wont work. I have 3.59.5 psdzdata also. the TAL calc using 3.60.4 & f25-16-03-500 gives btld 5 as shown in the pic. any help is appreciated |

You can load a genuine FSC set as long as the VIN matches the HU vin and the date of the new set is after the current set - which in your case is empty - so you'll be fine. I have not seen any evidence that they have started blocking certain vin's yet.

Hey guys! Glad to see my post had a lot of interest!
Now is time to study on factory ID5/6 units to avoid reboot problem for RAM. I have one unit (without gps connector) on my desk. I managed to update to last fw and load full FSC set but i have problem on video screen. If i code to APIX1 and color depth to 18 i will see NO SIGNAL. If i change also mode mii to spi screen goes off. I there any other special coding to do? Thanks! |

Ok fixed!
All factory ID5 units remains in transport mode after a correct FW update. So u have to open tools32 and put them in normalmode. This does not happen in ID4 converted units, but it's an easy fix! |

I flashed nbt evo Hw 3.1 without GPS port with psdz 60.0 on the bench. after the flash was ended , i installed to my car, added 6CP,6NR,6NS and timeCriteria to 7/16 in orginal FA . and coded nbt evo. Now have some problems : Split screen - speed warning - flash for door lock& unlock trip computer not working -I can't adjust time and date . Please help I atteched FA - CAFD file Thanks regards |
