ICOM NEXT KL Problem
Hello friends,
I have a new genuine ICOM NEXT. I can connect to it easily from my laptop and have updated to latest firmware. However, ISTA/D and ISTA/P do not see KL30 or KL15. When I connect my ICOM A1 clone it does connect and see KL This is without changing anything on laptop. I dont know how about you but i noticed that not showing on that cars which need 20pin adapter th eolder ones

It was supposed to be backwards compatible. Is your NEXT-A genuine BMW? UPDATE: I just checked VIN and build date is 2007.03.27 so it's fully DCAN. I either have a faulty genuine BMW ICOM or I've an incorrect setting on the Actia interface. I will try again tomorrow and take proper screenshots of the issue. |

Yesterday comes a strange problem , it is E92 - 2011 Year
it not works for this vehicles, if i try use basic feature it detects vehicle but if i try to proceed it says i vin has changed , cannot proceed |

Are you using direct connection (with ip) or thru ediabas?
what is the IP of ICOM? clones have same IP, originals have different IP    |
