Im trying to connect 2016 K23 (have regular OBD 16pin) and cant establish connection on esys...
I can only read with dr gini the ecus errors and clear... not more... Can someone help me? I have icom a2, and use it perfectly on e-series and f-series with all tools. but cant get connection with this motorcycle. "Connection check failed. Gateway/ECUs are not correctly connected or not responding.~ However functions using the ODX-Data can be used. [G188]" Thanks! |

My Russian friends write that they solve the connection problem by running the ID in ISTA-D and then they establish the connection in E-SYS.
I connect well without manipulating ISTA-D, I do not turn on the ignition immediately after connecting ICOM. I connect : Connection via ICOM/D-CAN |

Bike don't have ethernet, so connection must be make by D-CAN

I've used ICOM/Ethernet on many K001 bikes without issue. I've also setup friends with the same configuration and it all works for them.
Ethernet is referring to the connection to the ICOM unit, not the bike itself, anyway from what I understand |
