Help to BMW newbie about service manuals
Hello,
I don't know where to start with BMW servicing manuals and circuit diagrams.  I would like to obtain offline service manuals and circuit diagrams. What is the keywords of the programs and where to look for download? My internet connection speed is too low  so I don't want to spend my time for false downloads. Thank you in advance.

BMW TIS does not have the same information as ISTA-D. It has more information on older cars like E46 or E39, but does not have wiring diagrams, for that you need WDS and last car supported by TIS is around 2009 I think. ISTA-D has more information on newer cars and also includes all wiring diagrams.

ISTA-P is for programming and coding car. SDP files are programming/coding data for ISTA-D for F+ series. You do not need them for diagnostics/repair unless you begin replacing electronic modules, etc.

I've installed ISTA-D with SQLiteDb but when I enter 2003 3 series E46 VIN number I got nothing.

It works for me with 2001 E46 VIN. Do you get any error messages starting it? Do you enter last 7 symbols of the VIN?

When I enter VIN I am getting this. |

The first message says that you did not properly install sqlitedbs. So its natural that nothing will work. Have you unlocked an archive before extraction?
