For Audi A6 MMI 3G HDD 2010 imported from USA is there neceseray any suplimentary software or hardware update in order to use 2014 Europe map ( 8R0060884BK version 6.17.3) or I can use the same procedure for map update for an A6 3G MMI HDD build for use in Europe ? (software update , map update and actiivation).

i see MU9307/08.
so this fw vers i think is no good for mmi high model 2010 y

Hello, i need to update system/maps in my Audi A8 2009. I read all pages and i have some questions, i want to do good jobs, without any errors (black screen). Actually i have HNav_EU_K0031_3_D1 so i think my system is MMI 3G with HDD. I think it's modificated, because between Software version and Database version is link (of Audi dealer) - hope this is no problem



1. First, i need to update firmware. So i must make this updates:

K0206 (8R0906961AS)
K0253 (8R0906961CC)
K0257 (8R0906961DF)
or must i first update 8R0906961T too?

2. i found few instructions, that i should turn on green menu and format/delete partitions before install new map - is it true, or i mustn't do that and directly after system upgrade can i install new maps?

3. after map use activator by djdeniska, yes?

4. i don't have cable, so i can't remove fault codes.

can engine be running? i found different opinion.

Yes you have 3G HDD, the update numbers are correct. Don't formate maps, just update maps. Activated with activator from post 3. My engineering was running and works perfect

Five mouths ago, i go to my Audi Dealer to update my 2010 maps to 2014 maps. But something was wrong and the MMI died. After so many discussions, Audi order a new MMI.

But unfortunately, the problems remains.

On MMI i have the 2014 maps ( 8R0 060 884 BK ) - HNav_EU_K0257_5_D1
