What I already can tell is, that the 12V Port for Power is not soldered at all and is using a wrong connector. The connector, which is only clued to the board, is a RCA connector(Wikipedia).think

But if its only that, I can live with that...

Majority of Chinese icoms look same.Just check if the pins of the wifi card holder are properly soldered to the main board.On mine clone A2,the pins were not even soldered to the board.When i tried to add wifi card,wifi card was not responding.So then i discovered that problem and i had to manually soldered each single pin.

Regarding the power pin you are talking about,actually its not a power plug,its there to connect ICOM with IMIB(Integrated Measurement Interface Box).IMIB is another bmw diagnostic tool which contains oscilloscope,multimeter etc.Mine clone has a proper 5 pin imib connector as shown in the picture.
