Hello All,

I recently tried to install ISTA/P newest version on a service PC. ISTA installed successfully using ISTA launcher but ISTA/P always quit with an error code 25000 during installation. Does anyone have any idea what does that error code mean? BMW documentations doesn't mention this error code. At the moment I cannot update ISTA/P.

This error most likely means that you dont have a base version installed already. You need to install the base version and the following updates before installing the latest one.

Here are the versions that you need:

ISTA-P 3.62.0.500 (Base Version) & then 3.62.1.003

It does solved the issue!

To be honest after build version number change in ISTA/P - for example from 3.61.x.xxx to 3.62.x.xxx -the installation failed. It seems you cannot update ISTA/P builds by installing the new versioned setup only. I had the previous build version (3.61.x.xxx) and then tried to install 62.x.xxx package but the installation failed.

I had to uninstall 3.61.x.xxx and then install 3.62.x.xxx the way metnioned above by rj85.
