I would check internal CiC power supplies for correct values, FOT thermistor, supply line short, V850 IOC chip. Could be many things, unfortunately.

Voltages always on: 3.4V and 5V regardless of standby/operating modes;
Voltages that are enabled by IOC feeding application processor board: +8V, + 2.5, +3.3, +5V.

You need reprogram for GL512 chip on desktop bench with programmer( for example ELNEC)

trying to help a friend recovering his dead CIC , I read many people advising JTAG direct connection .

could someone please guide me to the diagram of the JTAG , maybe little hint to which software is used to access the main chip .
