The best way to change km i this dash is xprog.....upa dont work on 35080 bmw clusters.....if you want good job km must change to lcm and ews

RE: BMW X5 mileage HELP!
Don't try fully opening the cluster to get to 35080. You will break the needle motors. I even tried quality medical hemostats to grab the shaft, and it still slips. Custom tools may work.
Instead I have managed to get the 35080 read/erase/write by tracing the 7 out of 8 eeprom pins to the back of the board, and soldering leads to the board. Then I programmed it with Carprog. Still not an easy task, but no broken motors. |
