I can agree (from older VM ware GDS2),
That GDS2 will revert to older Version. I tryed it with different packages and the version changes automatic after restart from GDS2 |

The Gm Gds2 software is not same anymore for all regions............
For to use anyone the Opel/Vauxhall package from 4.2018 and above need specific Gds 2 version and this version till today is 19.0.05700.......... With this version 19.0.05700 for to use other packages like Gm global or Saab or any other (China) the latest packages that they can be used are only these from 3.2018.......... For latest and for these other packages (like Gm global or Saab or any other) with the current ones (6.2018) you must use the Gds 2 version 20.0.22300......... This 20.0.22300 Gds 2 version can not to use the latest Opel/Vauxhall package 4 or 5 or 6.2018........... Also the Gm global package from Gm Infotech cover anymore only the Chevrolet brand............... Regarts........

works with bosch KTS590 as J2534???? cause I tried in some other older version of the GDS, and it crashes when connect to interface

I have a cable (mongoose pro j2534) gds2 that supports it. should the virtual machine already have the cable driver? and if I install the driver, will it damage the software?

Thank you to xtac1080!!! He is an awesome person! Worked as advertised. In order for your J2534 device to be seen and selected by TIS2000, you must follow the instructions as stated in original post. Replace j2534 file(as per instructions in first post), then on TIS2000 choose Configuration - I/O Management.
Click Add Button(in IO Management), In Logical Name enter EXACTLY "Generic Pass Thru" and Select "J2534 Pass Thru Driver" in the Driver Box. Click Ok and Close. Now go back to IO Management and Select Generic Pass Thru. Go to "Properties" of Generic Pass Thru and under "Device Name" you should see your devices name. Obviously you have to install the drivers first as the original poster mentioned. And you're done! Thanks again to xtac1080 since he posted everything.

Anybody managed to use Tech2Win in that AIO Vmware image? I still see the correct date, but when I run it I see the message, "your license has expired".
