It worth to check the original Abrites AVDI solution, as I read they made a new software for it for adapting over online connection.

Flashing with Odis-E wont make unit virgin ,or reset to defaults as I know,only you can try to adapt to car with odis online without problem,but for mileage it can be setup upwards,not downwards,the chips inside are not easy to be read with programmer,but for sure there is a solution but not public...
Eeeprom mileage edit of ECU's : EDC17 ,MEV17 ,MED17 ,SID,SDI ,Simos,Continental, Delco ,Delphi ,Denso etc.
