BMW F15 used BDC - Esys VIN problem
Hi,
I have F15 with dead BDC (water flooded) I successfully change it with used one with Autohex (read ECU, write ISN, VIN and blank ori keys and programming it back) Car starts and all devices work good (no error in any modules) But I have a problem with Esys, when I connect and try to read FA it say that VIN is not correct. The same is happening when I try to read (in VCM) VIN master or VIN in backup. When I click "Read (ECU)" it give me list of all ECUs and there is all with good VIN (bdc too). Please see attachment. regards, Mati |

Do you write FA original of car in replacement BDC ?
Probably VIN and car series mismatch. Let me know |

RE: BMW F15 used BDC - Esys VIN problem
FA is ok. I can read it with autohex (read/write FA, program all ECU and code it)
But! I see the problem is the same when I try to load any FA with this VIN (vin is 100% correct) Looks like KIS database do not have this vin number :/ how it is possible? Do you know where in psdzdata is a all vin database? Or there is no vin database and it works with same checksume ? |

I think you can test with another VIN and see the result.
