bmw f10 after changing km in cas4 and dashboard the car key no longer works. start the engine with it but the doors do not open.
vvdi2 does not give me any frequency. I changed the battery but still not working. what would be the problem?

Why not explain how you made the changes, what steps you used and what tools you used!!

Did you back up the cas4 data before doing all that?

the car starts.
only the closing door not work. I have only one key.
I honestly didn't do the km. I do not know what was done.
key before going, now does not emit the frequency at all.

I would never reset the only key to the car. Hextag is great at resetting keys though. Keys are cheap, add additional keys to test, don't erase your only key.
Here are a couple things to test first.
1-use an RF key tester to make sure key is putting out a signal.
2-view ISTA live data for CAS to see if car is receiving signal.
3-flash the CAS. I had an F10 with non-working remote functions. Flashing fixed it.

I have another key from another f10. I want to reset that one. I read the dump on the bench and after a schedule.
I will try to flash them cas with ista d
the key does not emit the frequency, I checked with vvdi2.
everything happened after the km and dashboard modification.

Do not reset your only key. You are 95% likely to loose remote functions, even with hextag!!

a question, can i flash on cas4 with ista d programming?

I can't read d flash with hextag from cas4 im give error: partition error -Ref 94e
but I'll read p flash

Absolutely correct. Succesfuly reset 2 keys and program them on an F10 today and non of the remotes are working.

More than that, the car will only start if I keep the key on the steering column.

All of that was done with Autohex and Hextag.

Which chip?

XEP100 - you can play around
XDP512 - A more secure chip, careful with that
