Hi!

For a few month now I have my setup with a icom and configurated laptop to read fsc codes etc etc.
It haven´t been any problems at all to read from E9x and F-series.

Today I got my friend over to help him read out his code from his car.
The problem is, he have upgraded his CCC to a CIC, so when I read out the VIN, I get 2 different of course.
But the FSC code we get seems to be wrong because he cant update his navigation.

So I my question is, is it possible for us to read out something from the car to get the right code? Or does he need to order one code for navigation update from internet via his CIC VIN?

You have to use the vin from the doner car, than you can create the fsc.

When you use fsc generator make sure you use 2015 for europe iso 2014 map.

You need FSTOOL to do "Check FSC" with the CIC VIN then the code will be accepted...
Your CIC is script activated.

First of all the cic vin and the cas vin should match. Is he using he using a navigation retrofit emulator to have the navigation working since it's a donor vin?? Alternatively you can use intel123 solution to install a patch and generate the Fsc codes for navigation/voice control/Apps. Next if you're using an emulator you need to use Fstool and do as what simaservis said "check Fsc". If you use intel123 solution you don't have to bother doing that... hope it helps..
