In my E61 wtth 30d engine from 2007 (LCI), I keep getting the fault code 9CC5 in LM2 saying that the LIN message is missing for RLS. Clearing the fault code doesn't help really. On the other hand, the RLS is working absolutly fine, no issues at all.

This started after the windshield got replaced by one with solar coating. With it a new adequate RLS was used.

I did flash the LM2 with an empty man file, and before that I added the SA id of new solar windshield to the FA (in CAS).

Does anyone have a clue what's going wrong here? Did I miss something?

Have you tried to initialize/calibrate the RLS for the replaced windscreen - could it provide any help?

your LM2 is not coded correctly for LCI retrofit

or maybe RLS is broken or there is no connectivity to the RLS because of broken LIN BUS or broken power wires to the RLS.

if wires are OK and RLS is OK then the LM2 is coded incorrectly for LCI retrofit

Guys My car is 2009/11, LM2 From factory, wires are tested, new RLSS from BMW installed, coded and initialized. LIN bus chips in LM2 module changed.I got car with this fault code 5 years ago.
I changed battery too. Used LM2 module that i buy for a try, had already this fault code, i scanned 4 same cars with LM2 and round RLSS, all have this faut code.
On same cars with LM2 module and square RLS, no this fault code.
LM2 can be coded just two ways, work with round rls or square.
