Bimmer Utility V 1.0.33 is LIVE!


Simply Reopen BU and BU will update on it's own.


- Updated mapping to 4.34.40 (LATEST)

- Allow Ncd Compare on different minor/patch versions
- Allow remote IP in settings(not needed if you establish VPN connection BEFORE forwarding port)
- Allow to paste strings in werte editor for long values
- Bug fix for some cheat codes not appearing
- Bug fix for wrong FA descriptions
- Added hex values to to preview changes screen.
- Bug fix for double click maximize/minimize issue

Just tried the new update, excellent work and very quickly carried out - Serious Kudos to the development team.

I have one suggestion for FA Editor unless its already there and I am missing how to do it.

Would it be possible to edit the VIN in FA editor ?

Sometimes I need to do this because in my own car I have retrofitted NIVI so coding it requires the donor VIN in FA, the same applies to my NBT EVO and ATM.

I would recommend considering dongle version of BU for users who'd like to use it on different PCs. I've got EsysX dongle and I have to admit it's really convenient solution despite the higher price.

It would be cool to have dongle and use the software on VMs without any problems

I also have EsysX dongle now but the issue is that it won't have any updates and all the users are stuck in the past

Well, just did this, an update window appeared, then...nothing, all content of BU folder disappeared except CheatCodes and Pdfium....tried to download and install updated version with my code but got "invalid code" message....same laptop, nothing changed except an win 10 update on yesterday...

pls explain or guide me about "Allow remote IP in settings(not needed if you establish VPN connection BEFORE forwarding port)" i dont understand it. 

1. in my computer side, installed ISTA and BU and esys 3.39.1, open BU and type customer IP in BU setting (IP VPN from teamviewer)
2. in customer side, connect the car with enet cable or icom next (d-can). dont need install ISTA?
3. in my computer side, open esys and remote coding?

do I understand correctly?
