LAN port brakes connection every few seconds with ICOM
Hi, I've got problem with DELL E6430. LAN brakes connection every few seconds with ICOM connected. It works fine on ENET.
I tested it on 3 the same DELL E640 and on two I had same problem, on third one it was working fine. Hard drive was changed between laptops, so I don't expect windows fault. LAN cable is new. ICOM works fine on another PCs too, so it's not ICOM fault either. I disabled power saving and other options like Wake on magic packet or wake on LAN in ethernet card settings. Does someone faced such a problem? Only BMW services:

Upgrading bios and installing sll drivers from dell site fixed my proble. Years ago when had such problem.

Ethernet Network Controller Driver? I updated bios and ethernet driver and it seems it works fine now. Stupid fault, but I never thought that bios and ethernet driver might be related. Try to use external LAN card, or use ICOM with wifi so its more safer

Obviously he has no idea about ICOM and programming.
But defeneitly I would go for external LAN card on USB. |

I would also look at trying a new ethernet cable as well as an external LAN card. Better to rule our the less expensive things before you diagnose the ICOM at fault.

Guys, it's already solved
 Ethernet card driver and bios update fixed the issue
Only BMW services:
