Engine temperature
Hello, I have activated the engine temperature in bmw f30 330e with esys and when I put it through the bc, the temperature comes out in the kombi with zero value and the value does not move.
Could it be that some parameter is missing to be activated or is it not possible in my car? |

RE: Engine temperature
Hello,
Isn't it possible to look for a temperature in a hidden cluster menu of F30? Or is a matter of having this info displayed without additional manipulations all the time before a ride? I have a 530e and as it is "a little bit more then warm" outside this summer i'm quite concerned about the oil and coolant temperatures (its 105C for the oil and 112C for the coolant) while in BATTERY CONTROL mode. This one bothers me a little. Considering your question, I think if it is possible to see those values in a hidden menu, then you might be missing some additional line(s) codding. Can't be suggesting any possible line as i never searched for anything like that. |

In my case with the M235i (F22 - N55) the temperature indication didn't work, but after flashing the F87 SWFLs into its DME the temperature indication worked. if it helped you, don't forget to press rep & thanks

RE: Engine temperature
I had a manual transmission and it didn't cooperate with F87 DME firmware because of a different gear sensor. Car always switched to limp mode...
