Scanmatik 2 Pro China clone J2534
I got some SM2 pro china copy from Aliexpress. They advertised that it supports PCMFlash and J2534 Passthru softwares. Challenge I have is, its not connecting to FORScan and Vediamo 4.2.
Seller is insisting it requires USB dongle for it to connect through J2534 drivers. Anyone who has tried this tool?  If this post help you, Thanks + Reputation will be appreciated |

no scanmatik needs any dongle to work in passthru mode. If chinese did this shit then they did not clone it proper or sent you an incomplete package.
YES, that interface even original needs a dongle to work with PCMFlash witch is another program payed / option activated / sn of your dongle. If you think i helped you please do take 1 second and press THANKS button

For Forscan go to settings and change following:
• In the “Connection type” field, select “J2534” • In the “J2534 Adapter” field, select “SM USB” • In the “MS-CAN Support” field, select “Together HS CAN” • In the “Send mode” field, select “Asynchronous” For Vediamo you have to change the slave.ini file. Insert the device name under "Part J". You can find the correct name in registry under Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\PassThruSupport.04.04\ |

Yes, with Xentry DAS PT, Vediamo 4.2 and DTS Monaco 8.14. None is connecting. I think its having firmware issues.

i bought it out of curiosity. i chose the gold-plated one with 2.21.21 firmware (the latest from scanmatik).
it is good with xentry, das and vediamo. no need dongle. |
